Petr Cech denies agreeing Arsenal move

Petr Cech has denied claims he has agreed to join Arsenal in an £11million deal from Chelsea.

The two clubs are understood to be in talks over a deal for the goalkeeper with reports on Monday evening suggesting they had reached an agreement.


Cech’s management company The Sports PR Company took to Twitter to deny the claims and a short time later the 33-year-old retweeted the message.

“@SportsPRCompany … as we told you, No transfer deal has been done yet for @PetrCech – as soon as any news @PetrCech will confirm,” the tweet read.

Cech is looking to move away from Stamford Bridge after losing his place as the club’s number one to Thibaut Courtois, but he is keen to remain in the Premier League.
