Yoruba Actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi (aka Ogunjimi) arrested for allegedly raping his friend's daughter

Few weeks ago, Fuji star, Abass Akande Obesere was alleged to have raped his lover, and now, a Yoruba actor called Ganiyu Oyeyemi but better known as Ogunjimi is swimming in the waters of an alleged rape.

Ogunjimi was reportedly arrested by the Osun State Police Command for allegedly raping his friend's daughter in Osogbo, Osun State.


Ogunjimi, who is well known for his violent roles in Yoruba movies was arrested last Tuesday by the Police and detained at the Oke-Baale division of the Nigeria Police, after the victim had reported him. It was gathered from reports that the actor was transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) for further interrogation.

Medical experts examined the victim and they reportedly proved that Ogunjimi allegedly had a forceful canal knowledge of the 22 year old lady.

The victim and her mother were said to be living with Ogunjimi at his Osogbo residence and that he was the one responsible for their upkeep until the victim’s mother recently left her with Ogunjimi in Osogbo and relocated to Lagos.

It was gathered that after the alleged rape, the victim reported the incident to the police alongside some residents of the area.
