The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has seized a home worth $18 million from former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, reports say.

According to Al Jazeera, the house contains a bulletproof gym and furnishing worth $2 millions

The EFCC has alleged that the home was bought with stolen public funds and is part of the $10 billion worth of property and cash recovered from corrupt government officials.
“We have been able to take on a lot of big shots that were hitherto untouchable…We have recorded 164 convictions in just one year,” EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu told Al Jazeera.
He also denied that the war against corruption was politically motivated and aimed at President Muhammadu Buhari’s opponents.
