INEC Collation Officer arrested in Ondo for tampering with election result sheets

A Collation Officer has been arrested by the police for allegedly tampering with election result sheets that was submitted to him after the voting.

The State REC Olusegyn Agbaje said the man had been taken to the police headquarters for interrogation over an alleged mutilation of collation forms.


Agbaje pointed out that the allegation is under investigation by the police.

Speaking on the delay in the result, the REC assured the people of the state that the results would soon be sorted out.

Agbaje said the collation process would not be manipulated adding that” no local government has completed its compilation.
