PDP expels Obasanjo

The Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has announced the expulsion of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo from the party.

The PDP’s announcement came few hours after the former President dramatically announced his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party.


Earlier on Monday, the Owu Chief asked that his PDP membership ID card be torn by the Chairman of his ward 11 Ita-Eko, Sumonu Oladunjoye.

Following the unusual request, Obasanjo’s PDP membership card was torn into pieces in the presence of party members and the media.
