Paid anti-Buhari protesters at Chatham House exposed (video)

Some supporters of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, and a group of Nigerians allegedly sponsored by the Nigerian government on Thursday clashed at the premises of Chatham House, London, where Mr. Buhari delivered a lecture.

Mr. Buhari, a retired major general and former military head of state, was invited to Chatham House to deliver a lecture entitled, “Prospects for Democratic Consolidation in Africa: Nigeria’s Transition”.

However, before he arrived for the event, some protesters gathered in front of the venue placards and chanting songs in protest against the the APC candidate.

The anti-Buhari demonstrators bore placards with the inscriptions such as “Buhari Belongs to the past: The past can’t belong to the future of our children”, “A dictator hiding behind another pastor cannot be a democrat”, and “Nigeria will not return to the past.”

Others wore T-shirts with inscriptions such as “Diaspora says no to a tyrant.”

The video below shows the protesters did not know why they were protesting; and a lady who claimed she arranged the protesters from Manchester.

The merger of ACN, CPC and ANPP brings to manifestation two kinds of terrorism--jihadism in the North and intellectual terrorism in South west.

    3. Oga Edem Odiong, try to understand the word protest before you comment. It means to express opposition through action or words. How is your wife sir? Happy weekend.

    4. Fola, come to think of it, are supporters of GMB not opposers to GEJ?
Thats where we have the term opposition parties.
Supporters of both camps are protesters of the opposing camps.

Nigerians are on final test or examination. Either you love money and die or embark on the truth and live. So it is left for all of us to make our choice. For me and my family, we shall embark on only but the truth. What of you?

  14. Why should you call it a paid protest? At what point has Nigeria get to this stage that says 'if not for Buhari, there will be no country called Nigeria? Has the qualify leaders vanish in Nigeria that made only buhari to remain relevant in the Ring? Those who can read the hand writing on the wall, has not only seen that General Buhari belong to the past generation of Nigeria, but also, in a group of dictatorship which is no longer viable for the future of any sane Nigeria youth. No matter what he think that he can tell the world, we're not in agrarian age where his mate has ruled and past, the chatham house will never vote for him, the voters are right hear in Nigeria ever ready to vote him out once again. Buhari is not worthy of been nigeria President at this jet age.

The presenter addressed her compatriots as hungry looking and smiling. Low lives that lack the mental capability for nation building nor to appreciate the efforts of real Nationalists, believe the garbage she spewed out. What a shame!

  16. My worry is not how paid agents got paid - Both parties are experts in crowd renting.
It's a national embarrassment how the youths are being used.

In this jet age of ours what these people have done for peanut change will have a kind of adverse effect on their lives probably in the next 20years they will regret their actions. I don't care if they are for GMB/GEJ.But for the mere fact that money was involved, it will come back to hurt them."Oro agba ni ....."

I just notice here that Nigeria still have a long way to go, talking of education and orientation and total overhauling of our mindset. Two opposition parties there, no cutlass, knife, guns and even the so called African power. May God save Nigeria and Nigerians
