Dr Sid set to become Video Director; ...enrols in New York Film Academy

Just months after one of Nigeria’s most popular music stars attended the prestigious New York Film Academy to study film making, Mavin Records act, Dr Sid is on his way to becoming a film maker as well.

The popular musician resumed at the academy in the second week of January 2015 and he’s expected to spend the next three months acquiring skills in the art of cinematography and film making. Already he’s trying his hand on school projects and assignments.

With his venture into the terrain, Dr Sid has joins the elite group of Nigerians who have attended the film school such as Nollywood producers, Kunle Afolayan, Stephanie Linus and Chika Ike, music video director, Kemi Adetiba and lately Empire Mates Entertainment boss, Banky W.

The New York Film Academy has also confirmed him as one of their students with the tweet below from their verified Twitter account.
