Since then, Femi Kuti has continued to promote his latest album, No Place for My Dreams with high profile appearances at events like the Johnny Walker’s Black Podium series launch, Felabration 2014 and his highly publicised Femi Anikulapo Kuti Live in Abuja after over a decade of being absent from the nation’s capital. Aside from this, Femi has maintained weekly performances at the Afrika Shrine.
With all these going on, the veteran musician is currently working on his 10th album which will be released internationally in the first quarter of 2015 and for the first time, the album will be available in Nigeria as well.
The 4-time Grammy Awards nominee, Femi Kuti recently collaborated with Afro pop artists such as WizKid and Ill Rhymes and also recently participated in the ONE Campaign which featured a number of African artists including D’Banj and Chocolate City act, Victoria Kimani on the song ‘Cocoa na Chocolate’.
