The
Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday inaugurated seven
special assistants and the Secretary to the State Government, Modupe
Alade, noting that he would give women of the state opportunities to
serve in various capacities.
Fayose was last week Thursday,
sworn in as the 11th Governor of Ekiti State, following a landslide
victory at the elections in June.
At the inauguration ceremony
of new appointees, Fayose also called on all Ekiti indigenes to join
hands with his administration to move the state forward.
He
added that his administration will ensure that political appointments
are extended to every one irrespective of your educational background.
He
further charged the newly appointed special assistants to put in their
best in ensuring that the people are connected to the government.
The
newly appointed SSG, Modupe Alade, also pledged her maximum support to
ensure the success of the governor. While one of the newly appointed
Special Assistants on Information and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, also
promised to do his best.
