Explosion rocks Gombe; ...9 dead, 37 injured

Five females and four males have died after an explosion went off in Gombe State, sources at the Nigeria Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, have said.

The incident occurred at the state-owned transport company, Gombe Line Transport Services Limited.


37 others sustained injuries in the bomb blast.

Eyewitness accounts say that three bombs concealed in bags went off during Friday morning rush hour and that three men left bags packed with explosives among the buses which went off.
