President
Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday forwarded the names of former Kano State
Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau and four other persons to the Senate to be
screened for appointment as Ministers.
The names of the
ministerial nominees were read out during the plenary of the upper
chamber of the National Assembly this morning.
The other nominees include Abdul Bulama from Yobe State, Adedayo Adeyeye from Ekiti State, and Stephen Oruh from Delta State.
The
ministerial nominees who will be screened at a later date will fill
either the slots of their States or geopolitical zones in the Federal
Executive Council when their appointment are confirmed by the Senate.
But
there was no nominee from Anambra and Kwara, two states with vacant
ministerial slots in FEC in the list sent by the President to the Senate
this morning.
Funny how they take us for fools. this is the same man abusing Jonathan few months back. Chai! There is God o!
