Cristiano Ronaldo consoles Lionel Messi after Copa del Rey final (picture)

Following Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final, images of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi together hinted that the relationship between the clubs is on the mend.

The duo, despite not kicking lumps out of each other whenever they meet, are renowned rivals who often share moments of awkwardness when in close proximity of each other as a result of a fractious past few years.
