D’banj part ways with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music

D’banj might have ended his artiste contract with G.O.O.D Music, a JV deal he signed almost three years ago.

On June 17 2011, D’banj and Don Jazzy announced they had signed a recording-production deal with the Kanye West-owned label including a first distribution agreement, with Def Jam Recordings.

Fans have been asking questions as D’banj hours ago removed G.O.O.D Music from his Twitter bio.

No official word from the Pop star or his camp neither have his reps responded to queries.

Don Jazzy had however earlier in July 2013 publicly disclosed that he had ended his producer contract with G.O.O.D Music, revealing that he ended his contract in 2012.

Interestingly, Don Jazzy had told the world back in June 2011 that there was no duration to the contract.

During their time with G.O.O. D Music, D’banj and Don Jazzy worked on a few projects; the former featured on the label’s 2012 compilation ‘Cruel Summer’ while the latter co-produced on the Kanye West/Jay Z collaborative effort ‘Watch the Throne’.

D’banj and Don Jazzy parted ways in March 2012, ending an eight run with their now defunct jointly-owned label Mo’Hits Records.
