Security
operatives are battling to save lives following a twin blast that
occurred along Bauchi Road in Jos, the Plateau State capital, in the
north central region of Nigeria.
The blast occurred during a heavy down pour on Thursday evening at a motor park adjacent the University of Jos.
An eye witness told Channels Television that the incident occurred with about ten minutes interval, adding that wounded persons are being taken to the hospital.
The
number of casualty is not yet ascertained as the rescue and search team
of National Emergency Management Agency are on the spot to ascertain
the casualty.
Students of the University of Jos usually patronise the park and engage in other activities around the vicinity.
The second semester examination of the university is going on.
