Gov. Kwankwaso presents Letter of Appointment to new Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

Not minding the protests that have shutdown commercial activities in the state, Kano State Governor, Mr Rabiu Kwankwaso, presented the letter of appointment to the former Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, as new Emir of Kano today.

The new Emir is said to have been in the Government House where there is enough security to protect him following the protests by youths for the second day against his emergence as the new Emir.
